ABOUT
Olivia Abeyta is an illustrator and writer born and raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She graduated from Northwestern University with degrees in journalism and Latina and Latino Studies. Abeyta is a self-taught artist and is currently based in the Chicago area.
Her work has been featured in digital and print student publications such as North by Northwestern and The Daily Northwestern, local newspaper The Santa Fe Reporter, Great Cities Institute’s Fuerza Mexicana: The Past, Present, and Power of Mexicans in Chicagoland and more.
She enjoys drawing from life, playing video games and reading fiction. Her breakfast burrito order is sausage-red.
